About Us

Electrolysis of Madison has been in business since 2001 at this same location. Cindy Brooks is the current Electrologist. She came to EMC in 2010, with over two years of experience in the cosmetics and skin care industry, having worked in management for an internationally-known cosmetics firm. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and is a member of the American Electrology Association.

A specific plan of treatment is needed for each person, carefully tailored for their needs. EMC offers a free pre-treatment consultant for evaluation and advice, followed by a proposed schedule of treatment. The EMC plan provides for a timeline for treatment completion and an estimate of the total cost.

Office Policies

If you must cancel an appointment, please give at least 24 hours notice to avoid being charged. Also, if you would like to decrease the time you have scheduled, please give 24 hours notice. Being late shortens your treatment time, and payment is due for the time scheduled. Cash and checks are accepted. Credit is not available.

Post-Treatment Care

It is normal following electrolysis for the treated area to be red and slightly swollen. Both of those conditions usually disappear in an hour or two, but can last longer.
